CHAPTER 2: YOUR FIRST SOUND

To play the demo song:

  1. Check that the cursor is on row 00 of the SONG screen.
  2. Press RETURN. The song plays from the cursor row.
  3. Press RETURN again to stop.

The top line of the screen is the status line. It shows the screen name, the channel under the cursor (C1), the tempo, the channels playing (P:) and the channels muted (M:).

The bottom line is the help line. It explains the field under the cursor and shows messages.
