15.2 Messages

15.3 If something does not work
- SPACE + CRSR does nothing. The field is empty. Press SPACE first.
- Typing does nothing. Release SPACE, C=, CTRL and SHIFT, then type.
- No sound while editing. SIDJ does not play notes on a channel that is playing the song. Stop the music, or edit another channel.
- The filter sounds different on another computer. The 6581 and 8580 SID filters differ. The presets are tuned for the 8580.
- No mouse pointer. Check
MOUSEon the PROJECT screen. The mouse must be in 1351 mode. - The keyboard does not react while you move the joystick. While the joystick in port 2 is moved, SIDJ reads only the joystick. FIRE works as SPACE.
